Addiction recovery services

Through a host of services and programs, we support people on their recovery journey from alcohol, drug and gambling addictions, and help break the cycle for good.

Your contribution will change lives

What is ARISE?

What is Arise?

Spearheaded by The Salvation Army, Arise is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for philanthropists and the government to collaborate for a better tomorrow, and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need in inner city Sydney.

This project will see four of our facilities redeveloped ,in Sydney, that are in critical need of modernising, so they can continue to support those facing hardship, crisis and violence.

Why we need your support

Why we need your support

Evidence suggests the issues of homelessness, family and domestic violence and addiction are getting worse, with more people impacted than ever before. The Salvos have walked alongside those in need through Sydney for over a century.

But after decades of use and with the evolution of methods of best practice for care, as well as potentially significant changes in government funding arrangements, the existing infrastructure is no longer adequate to meet the rise in demand or efficiently support those who seek the Salvos for help every day.

How will this project benefit the community?

How will this project benefit the community?

Once complete, this redevelopment project will benefit those seeking help through the use of modern facilities, while also supporting the implementation of new models of care which deliver targeted and intensive support, as well as greater collaboration between other services and agencies in Sydney and beyond.

How you can make a difference

And we have been able to do this thanks to the support of individuals, businesses and the community that partner with us in our mission to help those in hardship. As the need intensifies, your support of the Arise Capital Campaign has the power to provide critical support that will enable us to revolutionise the way we deliver help and hope to those facing tough times.
